Logo Design
This project first started out as an Icon study of a candle. The project was a step by step guide in directing me to a final visual, which is the logo. The logo was supposed to incorporate the icon, but I was not happy with the final outcome. I then decided at the last minute to exclude the icon and create my own type face and allow the type to speak for the logo.
BELTANE
Poster Design
The idea behind this poster was identify an object , but like the first project I barely used that object (the candle). I instead to the project further and made it into an awareness and celebration poster. This poster identifies the Celtic pagan holiday Beltane. A holiday that my ancestors would have taken part in before the Christians came.
PINT SIZE DESIGNS
Stickers/Icons
Pint sized designs is a project from my computer illustration class. The creation comes from my spooky interests and would look cute as a sticker. I have plans on making more of these fun creations, but for now bask in the glory of this one eyed skully boy and his spider friend.
JEWELRY ADS
Advertising design
This campaign was made for my advertising design class. This project is directed towards women that are married and in their 30’s. I went with the idea that if he won’t buy it, buy it yourself. I created this gorgeous gal that Patrick Nagel would be proud of and gave her this fierce diva look to match her glamorous jewels.
TYPOPOGRAPHY POSTER
Poster Design
This Typography 2 poster was a way to combine two texts that shouldn’t really be able to go together. For example my texts were the 14th amendment and Snow White. The idea behind it was to show that now that the slaves were free they were no longer choked by the binds and cores of white violence.
HYPERDRIVE​
Client Video/Album Cover
Hyperdrive was one of my first client projects. It involved two videos and an album cover. Though this project did not take very long it did allow me to learn After Effects. Though this was my first time creating in After Effects I am proud of myself for creating these two videos. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them.
POPART EXPLORATION
Senior Show Submissions
This project was created to be put in the senior art show. Though only two were allowed in I made three because making them made me feel happy. Something about being able to create things in different styles always makes me enjoy the art of digital illustrations. Plus, it came into creation through a time of burn out. It just made me happy to create something not for any specific class, but out of pure enjoyment.
HERMAN MILLER
Book design
The objective of this Typography 2 project was to create a book for the designers of Herman Miller. Most importantly this project was to help hone in not only the technical skills of book making, but also making the book aesthetically pleasing. Which I feel that I was successful in both avenues, which makes me pleased as punch.
